ABOUT ME
My name is Maria Likhoman, and I am a ceramic artist residing in Nicosia, Cyprus.
My artistic journey began in 2021 when I discovered the world of ceramics. This material became not only a means of self-expression for me but also a genuine way to create something unique and one-of-a-kind. My passion for abstract forms and experiments with textures found its embodiment in the creation of vases and sculptures for interior spaces.
EXPERIENCE
I received my artistic education at the Rodchenko School, where I broadened my perspective on art and learned to play with various techniques. Subsequently, my creative endeavors led me to collaborate with Happy Studio — a studio specializing in professional interior decoration and styling. Our works captivate readers of renowned magazines such as ELLE Decoration, AD, Interior+Design.
My portfolio expanded with participation in the group exhibition «L Ó V E» in collaboration with Nikolskaya Gallery and POP UP MUSEUM. This project is dedicated to exploring the impressions of love and the artistic reflection of personal experiences associated with this feeling. I also spent time in the creative residence of Hunters Studio Moscow, where I found inspiration and new ideas for my future projects.

One of my recent group exhibitions was Eggspression, an initiative by XeniArtSpace Gallery and Sophia For Children. The exhibition brought together 30 artists under a shared vision of solidarity, compassion, and a brighter future for children in need.
